Ti Malik will join us for the 1st session, leading with improv comedy: spontaneous creation that relies on imagination and collaboration. This workshop will guide participants through improv exercises and prompt questions to spark and expand our visions of what can be. Ti Malik Coleman is the facilitator, he is a Baltimore based improv comedian, storyteller and facilitator who has performed and taught improv comedy around the country and internationally.

Affirming Black Families is a *new* parent education and capacity building program for Black parents and caregivers of LGBTQ youth. The series will feature a monthly virtual workshop to equip Black parents with the community, knowledge and resources to build safe, loving, affirming and celebratory homes for Black queer and trans youth in Baltimore City.

Who should attend? Any adult parent, caregiver or family member interested in receiving support and resources while they do the work to love, affirm and celebrate their LGBTQ kid!

What to expect? A friendly, low-key virtual gathering to share ideas, stories, strategies and strength. Each month will focus on a different topic.
